The catalogue opened its photographs in this window at full size, one at a time, and which picture appeared was decided by the page you clicked from — the window itself held no picture and no text beyond its own close control. That is why there is nothing here to look at: the photographs survive on the item pages, at the size the archive kept them, and the way in is the catalogue index. The address is kept live because links still point at it.
